I'd long heard of Ikara Wilpena Pound but never had the oppurtunity to visit. I had been on the road for a week on a photography workshop in far west New South Wales with plans to go down to Victoria when yet another lockdown occured. So I pivotted on the plan and went into South Australia and found myself close enough to Ikara Wilpena Pound I just had to go. This shot was early in the morning waiting for sunrise from utop Pugilist Hill Lookout. It was just me and the sounds of wildlife waking to the dawn, a very special moment
